Our approach to defending your case focuses on zealous representation.  That means you never have to worry about your case being ignored, your opinions being dismissed, or your calls going unanswered.  That also means that your advocate will work tirelessly to ensure that you get the best outcome possible.  That often means taking the case to trial even though settling would be an easier option.  At the Law Offices of Caleb Avraham YOU are the only priority.

Tips!

"I've been arrested for a crime...what now?"

  1. DO NOT TALK TO THE POLICE!
    • There is rarely ever a good time to speak with police before retaining a lawyer. During questioning, police often tell half truths and flat out lie and its totally legal for them to do so.  The only thing the police can't do is promise you anything. Remember you must maintain your right to remain silent throughout the entire legal process.

  1. DO NOT TALK ABOUT YOUR CASE
    • You may feel the urge to speak with a loved one or close friend.  While they may be helpful, they rarely understand all of the unique nuances of your case.  Remember, only your lawyer is legally bound to keep everything you say under lock and key.

  1. KEEP YOUR LAWYER AND THE COURT UPDATED WITH YOUR ADDRESS
    • One of the easiest ways to get an unnecessary warrant is to not show up for court. In Georgia, a failure to appear results in your bond being revoked and a warrant issued for your arrest. If you are released from jail before your next court date, call your lawyer and bondsman with your mailing address.
